Since my wife gets an employee discount at Hilton properties the last time we went to Vegas together we stayed at the Embassy Suites that’s over another block from the Strip. It’s kind of between the Hard Rock and UNLV. It’s nice and it was cheap with the discount but dealing with the shuttle is a little inconvenient .

I’ve been staying at the Elara. Behind Planet Hollywood, has an entrance/exit to the Miracle Mile Shops, almost stones throw away from the strip.

That looks really, really nice. I doubt we could get rooms for the $39 a night that the Embassy Suites charges us but it would be nice to stay someplace that nice and convenient. I might have her look and see if they offer employee rates. It’s worth a shot!
